About Lori Esposito
Lori Esposito is a painter, illustrator, and cartoonist. She majored in Cartooning at The School of Visual Arts graduating in 2013 and received her Master's Degree in School Counseling in 2020.
The art she creates focuses on the emotional aspects of human life. Her work is as stylistically varied as life can be. She worked
as an intern at "Gallery 32 fine arts" in 2011. Later, she exhibited a painting at the "Daki Haitian Art Gallery" with curator Yves Deshomme in 2012 and in the same year she exhibited her comic Nero: From Boy To Tyrant at the Visual Arts Gallery for the "Man Made Monsters" student thesis show.
she created illustrations for books such as, Jay Friedenbergs poetry book Rhymes and ‘Toons: Funny Poems and Some Pictures to go with them , as well as an adult book series called The sh** that comes with.. written by Carla Drummond on various life inspired family mishaps. She also created a Mural for the Langham Place Hotel depicting a cityscape, and introduced her work at the Ouchi Gallery show Heroes vs Villains in New York City.
She currently lives in Brooklyn and tutors children in art, she currently aims to be a school counselor and continue her dream of helping children through art, play, and communication, as well as providing schools with any needed support.
